My new decorated room.

Hello reader :)

So, recently I have decorated my room. It used to be a really really dark purple with teal and pink deco. It wasn't really my taste anymore and because my room isn't the lightest of rooms the dark walls made the room look glum.

I thought I would share with you some pictures of my new decorated room to maybe inspire you...

In the photograph above you can see a quick overview of my new decorated room. It's a light bue on the back wall and also on 2 shelves and then white on the other 3 walls. The colours really brighten the room and make it look more fresh and classy.

Blue isn't my favourite colour but I think it looks nice with the matching bedding, curtains and chair cover. 

The bedding is from IKEA and my mother bought 2 bedding sets to make one into curtains for me.

The pink throw over the chair that Mr. Tickle is sitting on is also from IKEA.

I picked out some classy decorative pieces to make the room more unique.

In the photo above you can see an old touch lamp I got at a car boot sale for £1. Bargain I know!

The cat pillows are my mothers and are 18 years old.

The light fitting is from TKMaxx and was about £16.

The old fashioned burgundy rug was from B&M bargains and was £10.

The back blue wall (the wall above my bed) is now decorated with inspirational pictures of my favourite bands, old photos of me and my brother and also some fashion photos. Most of the band related photos are from NME magazine. When I get more magazines and find more inspirational pictures they will be added throughout time. The smiths posters directly above my bed are from the latest smiths NME that was on sale a couple of weeks back if you wanted to know.
